Conference overview
The Recovery Summit is fast becoming one of Southern California's most prominent addiction conferences. Now in its third year, the Summit has drawn experts in the field from around the country.
This exceptional program is devoted to recovery from alcoholism and drug addiction, presented from many viewpoints, and focused on the experiences of people working in the field. "Recovery" as a topical area is deceptively broad. Presenters and panelists include psychologists, sober living providers, physicians, homeless services providers, interventionists, social workers and representatives of the criminal justice field.
The idea for this conference originated in discussions about the intersection of different professional disciplines and personal experiences as they bear on the recovery from addiction. The conclusion was that much could be gained from a forum where participants from different fields could meet to discuss common issues, share experiences and seek solutions.
Who should attend?
If addiction and recovery matter to you, either personally or professionally, the Summit is a good place to be. You'll recognize several of the panelists and speakers.
Continuing education hours are available for Summit participants. See this page for more information.
